Filmmaker and Mosaic Student Film Festival panel member Dan Lindsay is a Rockford, IL native who won an Oscar this year! Here's a picture after the big win (L-R Producer: Rich Middlemas, Director: TJ Martin, and Director: Dan Lindsay Inset: Dan Lindsay)
He co-directed the film entitled "Undefeated", which is a documentary about the Manassas Tigers 2009 football season. They followed the team as they attempt to win their first playoff game in the school's entire history.

The 2012 Mosaic Student Film Festival is now accepting all submissions for our 5th annual event. Please check our 2012 MSFF submission page for all the details. We're looking forward to screening your work!

Submissions are now closed for the Mosaic Student Film Festival - 2011 event. Thank you for all the great films that have been submitted. We will send word to the filmmakers whether they have been selected on or around July 15th. Thanks for giving us our highest number of submissions ever this year!

We have some news on our judging panel for this year's event. Filmmaker and Rockford-native Daniel Lindsay has agreed to be a panel member for Mosaic Student Film Festival - 2011!
This rounds out our panel which will also include filmmakers Corbyn Tyson and Bing Liu. We will have all of our panel member information and bios up on the website soon here.
To all our student filmmakers: remember that our submission deadline is June 17th, 2011!!

MFP will host the fourth annual Mosaic Student Film Festival on August 6th, 2011 at the Rockford Theatre! Doors open at 6:30pm with an exclusive pre-event photo booth, strike-a-pose opportunity. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the event. Visit the Attend page for more information.
